Pest Control can be achieved by applying lots of pesticide to existing soiled surfaces that contain plenty of food for numerous pests, in this case pesticides compete with available foor sources. However, for a more effective control of pests, it is best to deep clean areas to be treated, removing the food sources and then applying pesticides that can then work more efficiently, significantly increasing the durability of any pest control treatment.

Pest Control is at best an effective control of pests, expectations to exterminate all pests is not realistic.
Rodent Control can sometimes be effectively achieved by sealing potential egress points, cleaning historic rodent run markings/rodent urine by means of deep cleaning. Use of rodenticides often proves necessary, under current legislation, use of Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides - SGAR's (single feed baits) need to be placed by an appropriately licenced pest controller and checked/replenished/removed within 35 days. This means that in some instances it is no longer possible for general public to obtain SGAR's, a licencesed pest controller needs to be engaged.
Fungi is the largest family of living organisms, Fungi family includes the likes of mould, mildew, wood decays, bacterias and viruses for example. Not all fungi is bad, for example penicillin has huge health benefits. Some fungi, such as mould on pathways can be slippery causing conditions that can be hazardous to humans, other moulds can grow in moist conditions such as bathrooms with many speciaes that can be toxic to humans. Understanding fungi, having ability to identify certain fungi, gives opotunity to effectivly treat and control differnt species of fungi. Fun fact - science in general has very limited understanding and/or knowledge of the fungi family. If you are seeking a career - this could be food for thought.
